September 15, Monday night, 8PM, The Khyber, 56 South 2nd Street, Phila., We’ll be putting flowers in our hair for our monthly reading series at the Khyber for a Latin night of poetry and flamenco. Readers featured, David Acosta, Catalina Rios and Aaren Perry, will read poetry and fiction, in Spanish and English, and Philadelphia’s own flamenco dance troop “Pasion y Arte” will perform dance, song and music, accompanied by their guitarrista, Cristian Puig, from NYC.
$5 cover ($10 buys the book and free entrance) Open mike follows, so drink loads of sangria, bring your work and hop up on stage!

September 21, Sunday, New York is Book Country “The nation’s largest street fair of its kind turns 25” and PBQ will be there.

October 4, Saturday, noon until 4 p.m. Citywide Poetry Festival, Free Library of Philadelphia. Join us as the city celebrates their best. Various literary organizations invite a featured reader each to wow the crowd. PBQ's reader is Greg Pardlo.
